Steering Board
NEAR is led by a Steering Board (SB) appointed by the eight university-members of the consortium. The SB comprises a chair and one representative for each of the NEAR databases. They are all well-known researchers in the field of aging and health (Short CV of PIs). The SB has full decision‑making power and are responsible for the strategic plan, budget, regulations and achievements of NEAR. The Board meets at least twice per year to discuss ongoing and future activities of NEAR.
